To identify the employee's role

1. Click Settings > Lists > Organization setup > Employees.
2. Locate the employee in the list.
3. The employee role will display under the Role column.

You can also find the employee role by entering the name of the employee into the Search for contact or employee field at the top of the screen.

To set approval rights

Approval rights, located within an employee roles' Properties, dictate the stage (or level) of approval for that employee. Whatever approval right is selected, that will be the level that employee role falls under.

1. Click Settings > Lists > Organization setup > Employee roles.
2. Locate and double-click the employee role you wish to work with.
3. Click the Workflow rights tab.
4. Under Approval rights, select the checkbox that applies. The following options are available:
   
   
   
    An employee role can only have one option selected.
   
   
5. Click Save and close.

The table below displays the employee right required for each compliance approval level in order to approve or edit the KYC information for a business party. It also displays the Required at level necessary for the compliance custom field to appear on each compliance approval level.

For example, if you want a custom field to appear for a compliance approval level of 2, then you must set the Required at level to Pending 2nd compliance approval. Once the business party is on the 2nd compliance approval that KYC question will appear.
