Compliance can configured to have up to 5 levels of approval before a business party becomes fully active. The right to approve is granted in the employee role. See How to add an employee and How to add and revoke access rights for additional information on employee roles.
To identify the employee's role
- Click Settings > Lists > Organization setup > Employees.
- Locate the employee in the list. The role is displayed in the default employee list.
You can also find the employee role by entering the name of the employee into the Search for contact or employee field.
To change the employee's role
- Click Settings > Lists > Organization setup > Employees.
- Locate and double-click the employee you would like to change.
- Under the Information tab, click System access.
- In the User role field, select a new role from the pick list.
To locate the employee roles' approval rights
- Click Settings > Lists > Organization setup > Employee roles.
- Locate and double-click the employee role you wish to work with.
- Click the Workflow rights tab.
- Under Approval rights, select the checkboxes that apply.
- Click Save and close.
