Primacy configuration settings can be imported or exported from tables stored in an external database.
Enable import and export
- Click Settings > Application configuration > System properties.
- Locate and double-click the Primacy configuration database system property.
- In the Value field, enter the database that the settings will be exported to and imported from.

- Click Save and close.
To export
- Click Tools > Database maintenance > Export settings.
- A warning screen will display. Click Yes to proceed and export the settings.
To import
- Backup the database that the settings were exported to.
- Restore the database to the environment where you will be importing the settings.
- Run Primacy Workplace in the new environment.
- Click Tools > Database maintenance > Import settings.
- The following screen will display. Click Yes to proceed and import the settings.

Below is a list of tables. Yes signifies that migration is needed. No signifies that migration is not needed.
