Most forms and lists contain a field with the following icon: 
This is the lookup icon. Clicking it will launch the Look up records form to search the system for records to populate the field.
For example, here is the lookup icon on the Clients list.

With these fields, you can begin to type your query and click Enter. The look up will match your query with the system and it will display in the field.
You may alsoalso launch the Look up records form.
To launch the look up records form
- Click the lookup icon next to the field you would like to populate. The Look up records form will display.

- In the Look for field, enter your query.
- Click Find.
- The list below will populate with matched results. Locate and select the record you would like to work with.
- Click OK.
The form will close and return you to the list or form you are working with. The selected record will display in the field.
